Firelizard clutches are administered under the Wizards in the form of the FLCzar. The FLCzar is a Wizard who is responsible for coordinating and approving clutches. All requests for a Firelizard clutch should go though the FLCzar. is the current FL Czar.

If you are interested in running a Firelizard clutch on SouCon, you will need to ask the FLCzar for permission in advance, or you may use the +clutches code and request permission.
For more detailed information, please begin by consulting the Guide to Running Firelizard Hatchings.
The MUSH has a number of parent objects available to help run a clutch: a hatcher, a virtual hatcher and a pot hatcher. Please see ‘+help parents clutchers'.

The rules for clutch makeup are based on the current active player base and number of Firelizards already on the mush. The Wizards will adjust these limits from time to time as conditions warrant. The rules are as follows:
1. Gold clutches may have a maximum of 20 viable eggs per RL year with a maximum of 8 viable eggs per clutching (10 if held in conjunction with an event). Only 2 gold Firelizards may be hatched per RL year by any gold Firelizard. Viable being defined as eggs that are impressed to Player Characters.
2. Green clutches may have a maximum of 10 viable eggs per RL year with a maximum of 4 viable eggs per clutching (6 if held in conjunction with an event).
3. All clutches must be approved by the FLCzar in advance of the clutching. Approval is required for clutch size, color distribution, and in the case of a Gold hatching, approval for the new Gold. As a rule of thumb, no clutch should exceed 30 percent of the clutch as metallics.
