The Unified Crafthall was established in the Southern Continent during the Tenth Interval -- an enterprise designed to bring Crafters closer together and encourage cross-Crafting. Although there is no single Craftmaster in charge of the Hall there are many Masters and Journeymen in residence, each an expert in their individual areas. The Hall's Headwoman is charge of day-to-day activities, including clothing and feeding its inhabitants. Crafters here wear their principal color, plus a rainbow and white cord.

On SouCon, the Unified Crafthall is located at Southern Hold and is under the direct auspice of the Craft Wizard. To become an Apprentice, Journeyman or Master please read through NEWS CRAFT JOINING and the news files relating to the Craft that interests you.

As such its emblem was designed to represent a central concept, Rubkat, and all the colors of the Crafts. Indeed, all the Crafts of Pern are represented at the Hall, which is a beautiful example of the best of all Pernese design -- from it's carved doors, to the stained windows and tapestries.
