Central Hold

	Holder Huard Colors: Light green and white. Emblem: Per light green, centered Lozenge white. Beholden: Southern Weyr Status: Minor Hold NPC Location: On the shores of the Delta River.

Central was first established in the Ninth Interval by Kevelon, one of Lord Toric's brothers, so named because it was in the Central region of Lord Toric's Holdings at that time. It was ceded it's own Hold status during the ninth Interval. The Delta River runs close by the Hold, providing it with fresh water. The Delta is also how it tithes to Southern Weyr, sending up barges towards the bigger ships located at Big Lagoon, although a well worn road goes north to the Weyr and south to Drake's Lake. Cardiff is known for the breeding of animals, and its vegetable crops.
Holder Huard:	Due to severe fever he suffered as a teen, Huard has no expression on the left side of his face and limited expression on his right. However, keen and expressive eyes and a well-trained voice deliver his message loud and clear to those who work under him and live within the confines of Central Hold. Known as a fair and generous man to those who are loyal to Hold and Weyr, he has managed to see his Hold grow in stark contrast to many Holds who suffered greatly. His generosity to Southern Weyr has not gone unrewarded and at present, he holds a good relationship with the Weyr leadership.
