Master Alemi, Master Menolly of the HarperCraft's brother, founded Paradise River SeaHold in the Ninth Pass. The Hold itself is small, mostly comprised of a number of small cotholds, which are all on stilts to prevent the ruin associated with large storm waves. A wharf stretches out to sea, home to a small fleet of ships. Deep waters run deep and fast off the coast where huge schools of fish swim. Redfin, a large game fish and a favorite for its succulent flesh, tasty fresh or smoked, are found in abundance and Shipfish are frequent visitors.
Holder Stran:	Stran holds a tight rein over his small hold and is ruthless in his dealings with anyone he considers a fool or inefficient. He is too certain of his own abilities and has a tendency to brag of his accomplishments, much to the dismay of any one who has been cornered by him at local gathers. Given to the occasional excess of wine and food, his ruddy cheeks and bilious appearance earn him more than a few chuckles behind his back. Rumors have it that these excesses kept him safe from the ravages of Nemar's disease. However, his Hold has more than once participated in sea rescues, even in the height of storms and he has earned the respect of those around him because of it.
