Yukon Hold was founded during the Ninth Interval on the shores of the Dorado River, north of Drake's Lake by a family from Karachi Hold. Not far to the east lies the Delta River, one of the major trade routes. Yukon grows a number of valued crops including Parsnips, Spiceroot, Turnips and Tubers. However, it is perhaps famed for the leather that is produced here. The Tanner Craft moved here during the Tenth Interval when expanding, and chose this location both because of the rivers, and their means of transport, but also because of its proximity to Karachi and the vast herds there.

| Holder Diran: | Holder Diran did not take over Yukon Hold from his father until he was nearly 35 turns old. The rumors and gossip of his discontent towards his father's running the hold was well known. When he took over, the true extent of his greed was shown. Taking advantage of the Hold's location on trade routes, his dealings with other holds was often considered less than fair. During the plague he withdrew into his hold. Closing it to travelers and hoarding his supplies. Even after the worst had passed, he remained in his hold, handling all trade at a distance. Growing eccentric in his old age by setting a trading post outside the Hold and taking few visitors. Often meeting strangers with a cloth in his hand to hold over his face. Only a single heir survives, a son desperate to change what his father has made of the Hold. |

Holder Diran
