The following policy has been established for residents of Holds wishing to apply for Search.

Any resident of any Hold, with the exception of the Holder, may apply for Search at any time as long as they make they make the request to the Holder and receive approval prior to applying. If you have not received a reply from your Holder within a reasonable amount of time (approximately 1 RL week), or the Holder is on vacation, please send +mail to the Hold Wizard (Masako), including your Holder in the +cc portion of the +mail.

Before being given a Hold position, especially those of Steward a player will often be asked if they intend to apply for Search with that character.
