After the initial Southern settlement, the Southern Continent expanded through the 9th Pass, and into the Interval. As well as Southern Hold, and Cove Hold, a number of other Holds were settled, ranging out over the continent. The Weyrs, likewise, expanded to protect those Holds, and some Crafthalls were established to utilize the vast resources.
