Goldriders

1. No one Weyr may have more than five viable gold dragons living at the Weyr at any one time. This number includes NPCs. There is no limit to the number of infertile gold dragons at a Weyr. Inactive goldriders are suggested to either:

a) Become NPC with the knowledge that they can never return to SouCon MUSH with the same gold.

b) Relocate to an NPC Weyr and retain a 'visitor' knot at the Weyr from which they have moved with the option of returning to any PC Weyr on the game at the discretion of the current Weyrleaders at said Weyr.

c) Retire the gold to infertile status and stay on at the Weyr with the knowledge that they will never have another Clutch with the same gold.

If option 2 is decided upon, the goldrider in question will choose a Weyr which is currently NPC on SouCon MUSH, this includes the Northern Weyrs, with the exception of Benden Weyr. Temporary goldriders shall be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Weyr Council and Wizards.

2. No Weyr may have two consecutive, on-camera Hatchings at which a PC gold dragon is Impressed. If, however, a Weyr finds itself with extenuating circumstances, they may present their case to the Weyr Council, who will put the request for a PC gold Hatching to the customary vote. If a PC gold is approved in two consecutive Hatchings for the same Weyr, that Weyr then forfeits the right to request a gold in either of the next two on-camera Hatchings.

3. Either Weyr is allowed to have an NPC gold egg on the Sands at any time. PC gold eggs must be approved by a majority vote of the Weyr Council.

4. The Impression of a gold dragon to a player/character on SouCon MUSH be discussed between the Senior Weyrwoman of both Weyrs (or designated Junior), with input, as desired, by the Weyrleaders and Junior Weyrwoman of both Weyrs. This discussion enables the Weyr not in Search to raise issues of concerns of any player/character that may Impress a gold, fosters communication, and includes the sharing of Search application and Interview information. This replaces the former veto issue. The decision remains with the Search Weyr, but with comments and suggestions by the other Weyr which will be taken into consideration when the final choice is made. At all times the Weyr Wizard reserves the right to absolute veto.
