The Weyr Council is privy to information not generally available to the game populace. Such information can include (but is not limited to) player's alternate characters, connection information, etc. It is expressly forbidden for members of the Weyr Council to share such information outside of the Weyr Council unless such information is necessary to be shared in order to ensure enforcement of game or local policy.

If at any time Weyr Council will be sharing information from a player that fact must be clearly communicated to the player and the player given an opportunity to deny permission for such information to be shared. The reasons for needing to share the information must also be given to allow the player to make an educated decision.

Members of the council who violate a player's privacy without any sort of due cause or permission will be immediately expelled from the Weyr Council.
